Lessor ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application ("Lessor" or the "App").

Information You Provide:

• Account Information: When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and password.
• Property Information: Property addresses, unit details, rent amounts, due dates, and lease terms you choose to enter.
• Tenant Information: Tenant names, contact details, and lease associations you add for the purpose of sending rent reminders.
• Payment Records: Records of rent payments and maintenance charges you manually log, including amounts, dates, and any notes.
• Property Photos: Before and after photos of property condition you choose to upload for documentation purposes.
• Lease Documents: Lease agreements and related documents you choose to store within the App.

Automatically Collected Information:

• Device Information: Device type, operating system version, unique device identifiers, and app version.
• Usage Data: How you interact with the App, including features used, screens viewed, and app session durations.
• Crash Data: Diagnostic information if the App crashes, to help us improve stability.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, maintain, and improve the App's features and functionality.
• Send automated rent payment reminders to tenants on your behalf.
• Generate payment history, maintenance charge reports, and income summaries for your use.
• Store and manage lease documents and send you lease expiry alerts.
• Store property condition photos (before/after) for your documentation needs.
• Process subscription purchases through our payment provider (RevenueCat).
• Respond to your support inquiries and provide customer service.
• Analyze usage trends to improve user experience.
• Detect, prevent, and address technical issues or security concerns.

3. Subscription Payments

Lessor offers optional premium features through in-app subscriptions. Subscription payments are processed by Apple through the App Store. We use RevenueCat as our subscription management platform. We do not directly collect or store your payment card information. Please refer to Apple's Privacy Policy and RevenueCat's Privacy Policy for information on how they handle payment data.

4. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties. We may share information in the following limited circumstances:

• Service Providers: We work with trusted third-party service providers (such as RevenueCat for subscription management, and cloud hosting providers) who assist us in operating the App. These providers are contractually obligated to protect your data.
• Legal Requirements: We may disclose your information if required by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request.
• Safety: We may disclose information when we believe it is necessary to investigate, prevent, or take action regarding potential violations of our Terms of Service, suspected fraud, or situations involving potential threats to safety.

5. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely using industry-standard encryption both in transit and at rest. We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.

Property data, tenant information, and payment records you enter are stored locally on your device and, if you enable sync, on secure cloud servers. Property photos and lease documents are stored locally unless you opt into cloud backup.

6. Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you services. You can delete your account and associated data at any time through the App's settings. Upon account deletion, we will delete or anonymize your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

7. Your Rights and Choices

You have the right to:

• Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
• Correction: Request correction of inaccurate personal data.
• Deletion: Request deletion of your personal data and account.
• Data Portability: Request an export of your data in a machine-readable format.
• Opt Out: Disable notifications, analytics, or cloud sync at any time through the App's settings.

8. Children's Privacy

Lessor is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have collected information from a child under 13, we will take steps to delete that information promptly.

9. Third-Party Links and Services

The App may contain links to third-party websites or services that are not operated by us. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of these third parties. We encourage you to review their privacy policies.

10. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the new Privacy Policy within the App and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
